The idea of a Google-specific notebook computer is, in and of itself, a fascinating one. Of course, for it to be a useful tool, you would have to be a Google super-user. But if you are, it’s pretty much the perfect machine.

Samsung has just come out with the newest version of the Chromebook. It’s clean, modern and comes in at a ridiculously low price of $249. It has the same screen size and resolution as the entry-level MacBook Pro, and while it only has 16GB of storage on the machine, it comes with 100GB of Google Drive cloud storage for two years.

Since the computer runs on Chrome, it updates itself regularly. It has a VGA webcam, one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port. Much like the iPad, you can purchase a version that has 3G service, which is priced at $330 with the wireless data charges included for two years.

If you love Google and want a great back-up machine for work or home, the Samsung Chromebook is a great choice.
