Mosaic, that old Internet browsing relic, is 20 years old. It’s hard to believe that it was only 20 years ago that our browsers couldn’t even load the screen that had been visited previously, let alone support multiple tabs and sync with our mobile devices

Do you remember…

  • The old browsers Viola and Cello?
  • How much users adored Netscape Navigator?
  • When computers did not come pre-loaded with Microsoft Office?
  • How CompuServe or AOL or Prodigy were the gateways to the Internet, which was mostly empty?
  • That Opera was the first browser to introduce tabbed browsing?

Take a look at this amusing slideshow for a trip down memory lane!
